Common Name: Indian fleabane

Scientific Name: Pluchea indica

Indian fleabane is an upright weedy shrub that grows up to six feet tall. Flower heads are located at the end of branches and are pink to purplish-pink. It is common in dry coastal areas.

Plants may provide cover and nesting material for the native waterbirds, but this function will be provided by the native plants that will replace it (naupaka, ma'o, naio).
