Scientific Name: Citharexylum spinosum

This is a medium sized evergreen tree that forms crowded stands. It is spread by birds who eat the fruit. It is a pest on Oahu but it used by many ornamental landscapers and may also become a pest on other islands. It grows in dry areas up to 500 meters.
